Terms of use
These terms apply when you create an account or use GardenYeah.

The service
GardenYeah helps home gardeners record their own observations, photographs and activities; organise tasks; and optionally request automated identification and AI-assisted local care information. Features may change as the service develops.
Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your content
You retain ownership of the records and photographs you submit. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, reproduce and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service and provide features you request. You must have the right to upload your content.
Not professional advice
GardenYeah is an organisational and informational tool. It does not provide professional horticultural, agricultural, chemical, medical, safety or other expert advice. Automated identifications and general information may be incomplete or incorrect. Confirm important decisions independently and follow product labels, local laws and qualified professional advice where appropriate.
Availability and plans
GardenYeah is in private testing and is not yet open for public purchase. Logbook provides garden record features; Premium adds automated identification and AI-assisted care. Planned prices and current testing allowances are described on the homepage. The price, currency, tax, billing period, included features and usage limits applicable to a purchase will be shown before you agree to pay.
Subscriptions and renewal
When available, monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Web subscriptions use RevenueCat Billing with Stripe as the payment processor. Australian web prices include GST. App Store purchases use the price and currency shown by Apple and are also governed by Apple’s terms. Do not purchase a second subscription to change plans or move between stores; contact support if you need help.
Cancellation and refunds
For a web subscription, open Tools → Subscription → Manage or cancel subscription and complete cancellation in the billing portal. For an App Store subscription, use Apple’s subscription settings. Cancel before the next renewal to stop future charges; access normally continues until the end of the paid period. Closing checkout, signing out or uninstalling the app does not cancel an existing subscription. If you cannot access the cancellation controls, contact support promptly. Cancellation does not automatically refund an already-paid period. Contact support for web refund requests or Apple for App Store purchases. Nothing here limits your rights under applicable consumer law.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorised access, upload unlawful or harmful content, evade usage limits, or use the service in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
Availability and backups
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. You should use the available complete-backup feature periodically and keep exported copies somewhere safe.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service or reliance on automated results.
Ending use
You may stop using GardenYeah at any time. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, address serious misuse, or comply with law.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website or account email as appropriate. Continued use after an update takes effect indicates acceptance where permitted by law.
